I have a number of degrees and certifications, but my greatest achievement is the family I have built with my husband and our two kids. They're both in college!

In 2004, I took my first 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course and received my Ph.D.  from UCLA.  I am certain that I would still be writing my dissertation if I hadn't learned skillful and effective ways to manage stress.

I have extensive experience leading 8-week mindfulness programs as well as working with individuals.  I have created the Mindfulness@Umich drop-in program for Students, Faculty, and Staff at the University of Michigan.  You can read about it here.  I am a founding member of the Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness and Mindful City - Ann Arbor and a rotating leading for Being In Tune

My professional work experience is in Higher Education where I have taught and mentored undergraduate and graduate students at UCLA, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Michigan.

I am completing my coach training through The Coaches Training Institute with my CPCC and ICF ACC expected in 2018.
